For almost a decade, the all-white kitchen has dominated Pinterest boards. Mainly due to the fact that farmhouse design style has become the most popular. Some may think that the only way to do farmhouse is to be white all over. We will show that the farmhouse look does not have to be done without color. The selections for this farmhouse style remodel will be anything but sterile.

Before Navy Farmhouse

Before remodel, there was no definitive style in the home. The large expansive of oak in the flooring and cabniets made it hard to interject a desirable color palette. The scalloped trim above the cabinets was more country than it was farmhouse.

Although, they have a great open floorplan, the homeowners desire a more updated look. The spaces also have different wall colors and feel separate in the current colors.

New shaker style cabinets, in crisp white finish, set the tone for a chic farmhouse look. Function is gained with the additional storage in new cabinets. Arctic White granite is the counter of choice. The U-shape layout makes for a kitchen ready to gather and celebrate life. Even, with the addition of cabniets, and a peninsula island, the kitchen is still open to the eat in kitchen dining area. The porcelain tile backsplash continues the use of crisp white. Stainless steel appliances are pulled together with the use of a stainless steel sink, and brushed nickel draw pulls.

The refrigerator has a new home next to the expansive pantry.

The warm wood refinished floors contrast the white elements of the kitchen. Stay tuned for the next phase of installation. This farmhouse beauty with classic navy walls will soon be complete.
